Now, Djawadi has announced via Facebook that the tour will be coming back in 2018, helping to bridge the gap between seasons 7 and 8. Check out his video announcement below. (He also plays Arya’s theme, “Needle,” on the hammered dulcimer for your enjoyment.)
In the back half of the video, the world is rendered as a Game of Thrones-style map, and we see where Djawadi and his musicians will be playing. All the dates are below.

For comparison’s sake, the original Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience Tour only visited 24 locations in North America. Now there are 25 in North American, plus an additional 20 in Europe. This thing’s going global!
It’s interesting that the Concert Experience is running through October of 2018. Last time he went on tour, Djawadi hadn’t yet written the music for season 7. Likewise, he probably won’t write the music for season 8 until after the tour is done, which means there’ll still be work to do by October. (The word right now is that filming will run through August.) It’s looking more and more likely that the theory of season 8 airing in 2019 is correct.
Finally, Djawadi notes that fans can buy tickets for the Live Concert Experience on Ticketmaster starting on September 29, this Friday. However, if they use the promo code “Winter,” they can get in on “the pre-sale action.”
