UFC should have a very simple rule, if you are a champion you must defend at least once every 12 months or risk being stripped. It doesn't matter the reason, injury or not. If you are too injured to fight within a year, lose the belt and you can get a chance to get it back when you do finally return, basically the same as defending right? In the mean time you have an active champion. And UFC has fights to sell.

I want to see Garbrandt fight more.  I'd love to see him verse TJ again or him verses Mighty Mouse.  I think TJ just got lucky and is only trying to get a big payout from it.  The Mighty Mouse fights both fighters have too much of an excuse if they lose.  Mighty Mouse can see it's because he's smaller or TJ could say he has to cut too much weight.  But, the best would be if Mighty Mouse actually just moves up to 135 and sees how he can do – no catch weight.  The best fighters in the history of the sport could do that look at Cormier and many others.  I think this really proved that Anderson Silva, Chael Sonnen, Johny Hendricks weren't as good as people gave them credit for because when they moved up they did not do well.  One can only imagine Jones could have done quite well at heavy weight as long as he could take his steroids with him.
