It’s spring, and there’s still no new Game of Thrones season in sight. We’re looking for a way to drown our sorrows, and Brewery Ommegang has just the thing. The brewery, which has made long made beers inspired by Game of Thrones, has announced the release of Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, the second in its Royal Reserve line, each of them modeled after a different character from the show. Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, an “exceptional blend of Belgian sour ale and Belgian-style blonde ale,” is inspired by Westeros own sour blonde-in-chief, Cersei Lannister. It’s set for a late June release.

“Cersei is a complex character,” said Ommegang president Doug Campbell, “and we’ve tried to emulate that profile with this beer, which blends a lovely, dry blonde ale with a subtly tart Belgian sour.” Sounds like a perfect match. Jeff Peters, the vice president of global licensing and retail at HBO, weighed in as well:

When we set out to create the Royal Reserve Collection, we knew we had to pay homage the character currently sitting on the Iron Throne. We’re very happy to present this tribute to the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms herself, Cersei Lannister.

Ommegang’s Royal Reserve line will eventually feature four beers. The first — the Hand of the Queen Barleywine, modeled after Tyrion Lannister — hits storeshelves this month. We’re not sure if we’d recommend pairing those beers together, though. Cersei and Tyrion can drink together, but it’s fraught at best.

Queen of the Seven Kingdoms will feature “melon, citrus, and lactic acidity meld[ed] together with fruity esters from the Belgian yeast,” and will be available both in 750ml and on draft in select locations. Bottled, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms comes with a suggested retail price of $12.99.

The final two beers of the Royal Reserve line, which pretty much have to be modeled after Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, are set for release in October and December, respectively.
