A few weeks back, we heard that Warner Bros. was becoming the latest company to create a Smash Bros. clone, i.e. a video game where players can pit popular characters against each other in 2D brawls. (If you don’t want to sound like you’re just Nintendo’s homework, you can call it a “platform fighter.”) In Smash Bros., players do battle with iconic Nintendo characters. In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, it’s Nickelodeon favorites. And in Multiversus, players can choose from several Warner Bros. characters, including Arya Stark from Game of Thrones!
Warner Bros. Games has released the official trailer. Check it out below:
I will admit that Multiversus is a pretty good name. And if they wanted to include someone from Game of Thrones, Arya is a pretty good choice!
What characters are in Multiversus?
Here’s the character roster we know as of now:
- Batman, voiced by Kevin Conroy
- Superman, voiced by George Newbern
- Wonder Woman, voiced by Abby Trott
- Harley Quinn, voiced by Tara Strong
- Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, voiced by Matthew Lillard
- Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes, voiced by Eric Bauza
- Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, voiced by Maisie Williams
- Jake the Dog from Adventure Time, voiced by John DiMaggio
- Finn the Human from Adventure Time, voiced by Jeremy Shada
- Steven Universe, voiced by Daniel DiVenere
- Garnet from Steven Universe, voiced by Estelle

Multiversus is a free-to-play game, meaning that instead of making customers pay a fee upfront to play a completed game, Warner Bros. will bleed players for years to come by charging money for skins and other content updates.
Multiversus will release on consoles and PC in 2022.
