In an interview with ETalk, Collett expressed genuine appreciation for his co-stars:
“Working with Emma and Bethany has been incredible. They’re both so talented and so generous with their time and energy. Emma brings this incredible intensity and intelligence to Rhaenyra, and Bethany is just so warm and funny as Baela — they both make it so easy to play off them.”

He also highlighted how much he has learned from them, especially during difficult scenes:
“I’ve learned so much from them. They’re very supportive, especially when it comes to the heavier scenes. There’s a real sense of family on set with the younger cast, and that really helps when you’re filming emotional or intense moments.”
Collett described the younger members of the cast as forming a close-knit group both on and off camera, which has made the intense filming process much more enjoyable and supportive.
This strong real-life chemistry is clearly translating into authentic on-screen family dynamics between Rhaenyra, Jace, and Baela; something fans have already praised in the series.
