Sony has announced its decision to remove Kevin Spacey from the upcoming film “All the Money in the World” and will reshoot scenes with actor Christopher Plummer in the role of J. Paul Getty. The movie also features Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg in leading roles. Director Ridley Scott asserts that the film will be ready for its scheduled December release next month. After Spacey was accused of sexual assault by several men and of harassment by crew members of “House of Cards,” the team behind “All the Money in the World” initially pulled the film from Academy Award consideration. Now, with Plummer to replace Spacey, they hope to regain their chances.
