Game of Thrones fans can go all Westeros this Easter with the launch of limited edition chocolate dragon eggs.
Deliveroo is offering the themed treats via its app and website come April 14 when the new season launches – and they cost just 80p each.
So even if you’re not the Mother of Dragons, you can still slay this Easter by getting your hands on Game of Thrones-inspired chocolate dragon eggs, created by Deliveroo and inspired by the cult TV series.
Famously known for hatching in the epic Khal Droggo pyre scene, the dragon eggs are notably one of the most important plot points in Game of Thrones
The eggs based on those in the fantasy series will be handcrafted and painted from Fairtrade white choclolate, weighing 1kg and measuring 20cm in height (which is huge even by Westeros standards).
They will be available from April 14, powered by Deliveroo Editions, in the London, Manchester and Leeds regions, costing just £0.80p per egg in honour of the 8th and final series.
So for those of us in Birmingham, it looks like we’ll have to get friends or colleagues to order on our behalf.
Or find a dragon to take us there…
Joe Groves at Deliveroo said: “Easter is coming and so is the final series of our favourite blood-soaked romp.
“We see huge spikes of orders around season premieres and finales and we thought what better way to celebrate hardcore fans than with these amazing scaly creations.”
In 2017 Deliveroo launched You Know Nothing Jon Dough, a pop-up bakery selling Direwolf loaves of bread, which sold out before the store even opened.
Deliveroo partnered with Ben Hawkey, otherwise known at Hot Pie to bring the famous bakes to life.
The award-winning delivery service was founded in 2013 by William Shu and Greg Orlowski.
It works with over 80,000 restaurants and takeaways, as well as 60,000 riders.
Deliveroo is headquartered in London, with 2,500 employees in offices around the globe.
It operates in over 500 towns and cities across 14 markets, including Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the United Kingdom.
