Issues with the beginning parts

At Comic Con Liverpool, Dexter explained his hesitation with refreshing honesty:

“Yeah I think the beginning of the first episode, no; beginning of the second episode, definitely no.”
The reason?

The first episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms opens with a memorable (and rather gross) pooping scene involving Dunk. While, the second episode features Ser Arlan of Pennytree in a rather explicit display of his naked self. Both these moments also became two of the most viral moments of the series.

For Dexter, another worry was watching himself on screen with a freshly shaved head, which made the young actor self-conscious.

The shaved head anxiety

Dexter humorously described the universal worry that comes with shaving one’s head:

“Everyone, you have to be worried while shaving your head. Because you’re always like ‘Do I have a bad-shaped head? Have any bricks fallen on my head when I was younger?’ But luckily they hadn’t and I was safe.”

While Dexter has already watched the show and that his older self may skip the opening minutes of the first two episodes, audiences continue to praise his charming and funny performance as Egg.
