  1. Quality wise, I think they made the wrong choice… From the band's POV, they chose they guy they wanted. I never really enjoyed listening to the entire band anyway, hehe. I'd rather just have all the drummers and leave the rest at the hotel.

  2. Marco. I understand why he didn't join, but I would have liked to have seen the direction he could have taken DT – Still love the band – And I'm seeing them tonight in Asheville, NC! 2nd row baby!

  3. I have been listening since day one. They have been my favorite band. Being a musician I think Marco or Peter Wildoer  should have got that position. Mike fits personality wise, but I think it hurt them.

  4. I actually liked Marco better. I think he was a more of a technical drummer while Mangini is more of a power drummer but still technical in his own right. Mangini also had a look but I loved Marco's personality and it showed while playing. I'm no drummer but those are just my viewer observations.

  5. I don't get this band at all actually I do but I'm just not into very dark sounding crap like these tunes and what happened to drummers? This is laughable, so pretentious and not nice sounding ,not just the drums everything. Peace and love

  6. I think Mangini had some intangibles going for him: similar age/background as the other guys, coming out of an academic musical environment, etc. At the end of the day it's not just about raw talent, but about fitting in.
