Game of Thrones might be over, but George R. R. Martin is still out there rocking it. While all of us have been waiting for The Winds of Winter, that’s not all George is doing right now. Aside from helping develop the Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon and other spinoff shows at HBO, Martin is working on adapting his Wild Cards universe into a Marvel comic series, all the while sharing his expertise in creating a mythical world for the new video game Elden Ring. And there’s one actor who has been a part of both of his projects, and there’s a chance you missed it in the game.
Actress Gemma Whelan, who played Yara Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, also voiced a character in Elden Ring. She lent her voice to Lady Tanith, who you encounter upon entering Volcano Manor. She’ll ask you if you’d like to join the Volcano Manor family, to which you should say yes. Upon doing so, you’ll receive the Drawing-Room Key, which provides access to the other dorms in the area, allowing you to pursue various side missions and obtain valuable items.
