It’s a bit depressing to think about, but each day brings us closer to the end of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The fantasy series is one of the most popular shows on TV, with fans of George R.R. Martin’s novels having followed the characters for decades. And with just a handful of episodes left before the Great Game ends, fans are eager to know what to expect when Season 8 premiers sometime in 2019. And while the overall plot is still very much a mystery, two more characters have just been announced to return in the final season: Ned Umber and Alys Karstark.
