A new Game Of Thrones fan theory suggests that Jaime Lannister might come to Bran Stark’s aid in season eight.
You will remember in season one that Jaime pushed Bran out of a window after he caught him with Cersei, causing Bran to lose the use of his legs.
But the two characters might end up needing each other down the line, according to one fan, which will see them come full circle.
Reddit user JackStargaryen posted their thoughts for the final season, and made the interesting suggestion about Jaime – which also sees him reunited with Brienne.
They said: ‘Jaime will die defending one of the Stark children (most likely Bran) and die in the arms of Brienne.
‘Brienne (possibly Pregnant with Jaime’s child) stays in KL to continue to defend Sansa or becomes Lady of Stormlands in memory of Renly.’
It sounds like a nice ending for Brienne who definitely deserves it, and Jaime/Brienne shippers will be happy at the thought of the two of them having a child (even if he doesn’t survive to see it grow up).
Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime, said that his character will go through the wars on a journey to the North next season.
‘For sure, we see him head north. He might be eaten by dragons, you never know,’ he told The Huffington Post.
‘Or he might find the love of his life and suddenly he’s like, “God, this is it. No more.”’
Ever the professional, he wouldn’t confirm if the ‘love of his life’ would turn out to be Brienne of Tarth but confessed: ‘I know how it ends.’
Game Of Thrones is expected to return in 2019
