Thanks to composer Ramin Djawadi, Game of Thrones had some of the best music on TV. His melodies are so well known that any hint of them makes our perk up and our hearts flood with happiness. Well, unless it’s “The Rains of Castamere.”

The show’s music is iconic and destined to stand the test of time. Around the world, fans are keeping it alive with some epic covers. Seriously, you need to check some of these videos.

Let’s start with this gentleman’s rendition of the Game of Thrones theme song using a piano and a cajon. What’s a cajon, you ask? It’s basically a wooden box played by hitting the front or back with your hands, or objects like sticks or brushes. Take it away:

Of course, we can’t forget “The Rains of Castamere.” This guy sings the song in its entirety in his deep voice. Not only did he belt out the song, but he dressed and looked the part and made sure to include props!

Um, this man used 16 different guitars to do a cover of the Game of Thrones theme song. Yes, you read that right, SIXTEEN:

The final season of Game of Thrones brought to life the “Jenny of Oldstones” song from the books. This cello version of the song below is amazing:

Speaking of cellos, here is a guy playing along with the Game of Thrones theme song on the TV behind him:

Here’s yet another amazing cover of the theme song played on the piano by these two very talented musicians. Watching the video will give you some serious Guitar Hero vibes.

Imagine walking through an airport flustered and running to make your flight and all of a sudden you hear the Game of Thrones theme song…played on an accordion:

At this point, I think we should start playing a game. How many different instruments can be used to play the Game of Thrones theme song? While you think about that, here’s someone playing it on an organ:

Next up? An impromptu ensemble of violins.

I can never get enough of “Jenny of Oldstones,” and this piano version is simply breathtaking:

You can even use the theme song to throw a mini-concert for your dad on Father’s Day! Just look at these young brothers; how cute are they performing for their father, who’s recording in the corner?

Tired of the theme song yet? No? Good, because here it is being played on an Arabic instrument called a qanoon, a type of string instrument:

Aw man, I was hoping to find a video of someone whistling the entire theme song. Maybe next time.
