The award season comes ringing as the first major ceremony will soon take place. Grammys 2020 will see the best and brightest from the music industry get felicitated for their hard work in 2019. The award ceremony takes place on January 26, 2020, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Yesterday, the nominations list was finally out and leading the pack were three newbies – Lizzo with eight nominations and Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with six nominations each.

One category, in particular, is stacked in all the right ways and that’s the Grammy award for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media. While nominees in the said category include Chernobyl, The Lion King and Mary Poppins Returns, two other nominees in contention are Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones. On one hand, we had Endgame as the perfect culmination to a decade-long MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) journey. On the other hand, Game of Thrones aired its last season between April-May 2019.
