It’s Halloween! People are wearing Game of Thrones costumes or have worn Game of Thrones in the recent past! Let’s look at some!

One costume in particular has been making headlines recently. Joe Jonas, fiancé to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), dressed up  as none other than…

May I present the Ladies of Winterfell, who appear in different guises:

Jonas may be among the more famous people dressing up as a Game of Thrones, but he’s far from the only one. As always Jon Snow is a popular costume, here done on the cheap:

And if your Jon costume involves a Ghost, all the better:

Really, anything Halloween-related that involves a dog is a winner:

If there’s any one Game of Thrones costume as popular as Jon Snow, it’s Daenerys Targaryen, seen here with her fearsome dragon:

This next one is from a con, not Halloween, but it’s so well-done, and the photo so well-composed, that we have to include it:

And here’s a young Khaleesi-in-training:

Sometimes, the King in the North and the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms were even seen stepping out together:

But if Jon and Dany hope to rule, they’ll have to overcome the machinations of Cersei Lannister, who won’t give up the Iron Throne without a brutal fight:

Just don’t remind her of that walk she took that time. She will murder you.

Perhaps Jon and Dany will have help from advisors like Varys, seen here alone…

…and here with an old friend, since deceased, thank the Seven:

But as we all know, none of the jockeying for the Iron Throne will mean a thing if the living can’t overcome the threat of the White Walkers, who are also out in force this Halloween:

The Night King would be slightly less threatening dressed like this, but we still wouldn’t take our eyes off him:

On second thought, that might be more threatening. Any Children of the Forest willing to help out with this situation? Here’s one:

I love the green eyes.

And of course, you can’t fight ice demons without the help of the fire sorceress Melisandre:

I don’t have color commentary for this next one. It’s just a great costume:

A terrific Arya outfit, circa seasons 4:

Circling back around to famous people, Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger) didn’t dress up for the holiday, but he was taking in the festivities:

And finally, the portmanteau we didn’t know we needed:

Happy Halloween, everybody!
