It’s been a whirlwind few days in the Jonas Brothers fandom as they attempt to work out whether Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are still together.
After being seen not wearing his wedding ring in recent weeks, reports on Saturday night emerged that Joe, 34, and Sophie, 27, are heading for divorce.
However, after the story hit social media, fans were shocked to see Joe wearing his ring once again in a photo uploaded to the JoBro’s Instagram feed.
The famous brotherly trio – Joe, Nick, and Kevin – posted a sunset-kissed picture of themselves together to wish their fans a happy Labour Day weekend.
Joe, sat in between his younger brother and his older brother, showed his left hand in the image, causing fans to immediately zoom in to spot the ring.
In the comments, Joe’s wedding ring was all they could talk about, with many fans asking him to ‘clear up’ the rumours of a recent split from Sophie.
One user said, ‘Who’s here after hearing divorce rumours?’, while another noted the elephant in the room: ‘I love how we all just went looking for his ring!’
There is a suspicion that the photo was taken a while ago and was planned to be uploaded by the band’s social media team before the split rumours began.
According to TMZ, the Disney alumni and Game of Thrones actress have been experiencing problems in their relationship for ‘the last six months’.
In the last three months, Joe is said to have been meeting with divorce lawyers while primarily taking care of the couple’s two children while on tour.
Little has been reported about Sophie’s current status or whereabouts, but there has been speculation that the couple have already sold their Miami home.
Joe and Sophie first began dating in 2016 and tied the knot three years later. Since then, Sophie has given birth to two daughters, aged three and one.
While they were engaged, the pair both appeared in the Jonas Brothers’ music video for their 2019 single Sucker, which reached number four in the UK charts.
Speaking about Sophie in November 2022, Joe referred to her as ‘the best acting coach ever’ after going to her for tips on how to improve his performances on stage and screen.
