Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

JUSTICE LEAGUE is released November 17, 2017.

  1. Definitely should have been darker and 2 and half hours atleast. Feels to me like they rushed it to get it out before the years out, which is absolutely fucking retarded excuse my french. But come on if they want to compete with marvel put some more fucking effort in it doesn't take a genius.

  2. I'm glad it was lighter, but I do think all of the deleted scenes should have been included (other than Batman trekking to see Aquaman..). I was surprised it was so short. I really want to see the deleted Barry/Iris scene!

  3. JL was a really fun movie, but it was disappointing . This was not the film I had imagined after seeing the trailers.

    1) I feel WB departed way too much in the tone. This movie should have felt like a conclusion to the Superman arc from MOS and BVS. I would have liked to see things from MOS and BVS tied into this. The luthor demon painting and knightmare scene hinted at something more sinister but we got a silly throw away villian. There were no stakes, Doomsday was more of a threat than Steppenwolf.

2)The score was weak IMO. One thing DCEU had going for it was its themes. Compare MOS theme, WW theme, Batmans theme and a beautiful lie from BVS to JL. I hate that Joss fired Junkie XL and got such a generic score instead.

    3) This movie didn't feel epic. The fight on Krypton in MOS, the warehouse scene in BVS was better than any action in this film. It just felt really simple and basic with no real stakes involved. Compare the superman montage scene from BVS or Supermans first flight in MOS to JL it just seems really generic.

    4)  My biggest issue was with supermans resurrection. I wanted to see more of how the world was reacting without Superman. I wanted to see how steppenwolf and the para demons were cauing havoc in the real world, which would have made Supermans return that much more satisfying. It would have been amazing if Steppenwolf was the one who revived superman and set him on the JL. Imagine supes with long hair and beard and black suit against the JL. I wanted to see superman flying through metropolis at the end after really saving the world from Steppenwolf and the hope in lois and everyones eyes when they see him alive again. The dream scene of clark in the trailer with lois had more of an emotional impact than the scenes we got in the movie.

  4. They dumbed down the movie in a move for trying to please the critics but rather ended up changing the whole theme continuity that started with MoS and BvS. I loved both of those movies and was looking forward to this one. Zack Synder is an remarkable film maker and dares to do things that most people of afraid of. He knows his stuff, he knows his comics, he knows his lore.

Though i liked the movie, I won't essentially say that I loved it for the following reasons (may contain SPOILERS):
    1. Unnecessary editing for shortening the runtime. A tonne of story developing scenes were lost because of this decision. Though Joss Whedon is a good film maker, he should not have changed the tone of the movie and continued with Zack Snyder's vision, his style and his version of the movie. He should have helped – not change.

    2. The tone changing actually felt drastic in compared to MoS and BvS. In trying to please the critics they unnecessarily added some of the "funny" moments. The one liner sequences shown in the trailers were already in tune with the comic and the animated movies.

    3. Due to the editing some of the story arcs specially for The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman got left out that would have later helped when their solo movies are out.

    4. Also, after the resurrection of Superman, his turmoil of coming back from being dead, the question to himself – why he has to get back to saving the world. These are some of the scenes that are parallel / referential to MoS when he goes to the church to find answers and to BvS where Wonder Woman who left the mantel of being a savior 100 years ago comes back to help Batman and Superman when they are faced with Doomsday. When thinking of this and understanding his story telling style, I am sure Zack Snyder would have shot these scenes for further depth to the movie. Superman's appearance in the final version felt more just to show the Trinity as founding members of Justice League.

    5. This has to be the most stupid decisions I feel WB took, and that was to hire Danny Elfman. He was nowhere near to what Hans Zimmer (HZ) and Junkie XL (JXL) had accomplished with MoS and BvS. He single-handedly ruined it. First by being and egotistical a** by stating that his version of The Batman was the true Batman theme. Secondly, not incorporating Wonder Woman's and Superman's themes made by HZ and JXL. Rupert Gregson-Williams did a good job in Wonder Woman. I wonder why the studio didn't hire him in the first place after JXL quit.

WB should release the extended version or rather should title it as Justice League – the original Zack Snyder's vision along with JXL's background score.

  5. I just don't get the lighter tone bs?? The whole point of watching dc movies is the darker tone. We already have more established franchise marvel movies for lither tones. WB is botching the dc movies in the name of ligher tone.

  6. I love how they cut a lot of stuff that would add cohesion or needed background information for causal moviegoers, then cry about bad reviews. Honestly I loved Zack's vision for the darker, not always forced funny world like Marvel. DC is not a happy place, not even in the comics… I hope we get to see a more original Zack extended cut.

  7. I think Warner Bros. need to seriously learn something. The runtime serves the film, not the fucking other way round! This theatrical cut was a butchered mess, with appalling CGI and an embarrassing resurrection for Superman. Bring on Snyder’s cut. Long may it reign!

  8. This wheadon guy fucked the movie up ..supergril..2 green lanterns ..black suit sups ..gone!! Instead we've got this marvel joke shit style ..thats why i dont like marvel..they always try make jokes for kids

  9. You probably can't see superman in a black suit because that is S superman from a different dimension and here they resurrected the current earth superman if it goes by comic it should be earth two and black superman is from 1 and one more thing the flash that was showed in BVS is wally west not Barry allen

  10. Wheadon u son of a b** the thing you done to the zack's part of this movie are huge and u just played with all our child hood dreams. We all should sign a petition to WB to provide us the extended edition. And one more thing all credit goes to Zack not u Wheadon u r just some bad sub player who make every one hate u even more. That's my opinion

  11. Well i believe JL Should have been longer than this Specially i wanted to see Williem and THe One who Came to Alfred. I think they Saved these scenes for Blu-Ray Version or Maybe Extended Version.

  12. They should have kept it the way it was and not do a damn thing with it. Let the movie play out the way it was meant to say meant to be seen so that we can see it the way it's meant to be seen. I'm sure there are a lot of people that would not mind spending an extra hour in the movie theater to see a full movie not a half of a movie not part of the movie but a full movie.

  13. I feel like this film was just sabotaged. Something about all of the production problems just were too coincidental. It wouldn't surprise me if there was some actual corporate espionage and sabotage at play in some way. Guess we will never know. I would have really liked to have seen the original version whether or not it was darker or not, longer or not. Whole thing is sad.

  14. putting Lex Luthor and Deathstroke after the end credits was asinine. DC movies aren't know for stingers, so everyone had most likely left the theater, when duh…a major plot point is revealed, and people had wondered why Lex's scenes had been cut.

  15. Darker version! That’s what’s been good with the Dc movies, in comparison with the Marvels movies.
And as a side not i did see that Superman’s mouth was funny and did not realize that it was changed because of a mustache! I did really think the movie was flat, did not really like it! To bad it could have been so gods if it was kept untouched!
