ABOUT PARKS AND RECREATION
From Emmy Award-winning executive producers Greg Daniels (NBC’s “The Office,” “King of the Hill”) and Michael Schur (NBC’s “The Office,” “Saturday Night Live”), “Parks and Recreation” is a hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Leslie Knope (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Amy Poehler, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” “Baby Mama”), a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

  1. I wonder how Leslie felt on inauguration day in January 2017. On the one hand, Joe Biden will be leaving office. On the other hand, Hillary Clinton was sworn into office as President. (I used past tense because in the show it's already 2017)

  2. It's like best friends versus facebook friends. Shows like Community and Parks and Rec are not understood by all, but the people who do understand it fall in love with it. They become loyal and passionate fans; they become 'best friends'. Shows like Two and a Half Men have far more viewers, but they're not quality viewers. Facebook friends.

  3. The shows that cater to the lowest common denominator will always attract more viewers. Shows that are written well and have jokes that not everyone can understand lose viewers to shows like Two and a Half Men.
