Okay, we have a weird story to get your morning started off right. According to Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), there were several Danish news outlets reporting that he had
well, died. Since he is not, in fact, dead, this left Coster-Waldau rather irritated, as he explained on Instagram:

“Fake news, we hear about it all the time,” Coster-Waldau says. “Now, in Denmark, apparently there’s a story that’s been floating around various websites. It looked like a news story, and the news was that I had died
I’m fine, but what the fu
I mean, c’mon
I get that you wanna sell your shit, but that’s just
So, to you who did this, I know you don’t care, but fuck you.”

Short and to the point.

I haven’t been able to find any story like this on the net, but as Coster-Waldau says in the caption to his video, “it’s great that the various websites that carried the story have taken it down.”

I told you it was a weird one. How does a story like that even pick up steam? Well, for anyone out there involved, at least they know exactly what Coster-Waldau thinks of them.

Elsewhere in the world of Game of Thrones cast members, things are calmer. For example, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) gave us a peek behind the scenes of The Seagull, the production of Anton Chekhov’s classic play she’s starring in at the Playhouse Theatre in London:

And below, Carice van Houten (Melisandre) gives you an idea of a day on the press junket, as she tirelessly poses with fans:

I’m hearing the Benny Hill theme in my head watching that.

Anyway, you can get tickets for The Seagull here, and kudos on not saying anybody who isn’t dead is dead today.
