Making predictions about who’s going to live and die in the next season has always been part of the Game of Thrones fandom, and with the final season just a few months away, no one is safe. Game of Thrones deadpools are popping up all over, but one Redditor made a massive one usable by anyone in the world. May we present: Pool of Dragons.
The site requires you to sign in via your Facebook, Reddit, or Google account, and from there you’re off and running. Click on “Make your prediction” and you’ll be presented with a very long, comprehensive life of every Game of Thrones character lucky enough to have survived to this late in the game. For each character, you can predict whether they will live, die, or die and become a wight.
It’s pretty fun when you start clicking, and pausing to have a long hard think about what’s going to probably happen to these people. Once you reach the end of the list (which includes characters like Dolorous Edd and the direwolves Ghost and Nymeria), you can submit your predictions. A prompt will pop up asking if you want to create a pool that you can invite your friends to or if you’d rather just do it solo.
On the homepage, there is a global leaderboard that displays everyone participating in the contest. Once the season begins and things get started, winners will be highlighted accordingly until Game of Thrones comes to an end. It’s a fun little activity that everyone can join, and you may make some friends along the way! Either way, it’ll help pass the time until Game of Thrones returns on April 14.
