In 2017, the CW debuted Riverdale, a stylish, modern take on the classic comic book characters Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead. This isn’t your parents’ or your grandparents’ Archie, though. I think the rating with who ever watches it first counts as a rating is ridiculous most people don't have time to watch it exactly at that time they should count people who watch it on their app, Netflix, etc. A lot of people have work, school, papers to write. Hey I try and make it every night to watch it and I have to do something every Wednesday which lasts until 7 and yes RIVERDALE is at 7 so I always miss the first 10 minutes and I a. So mad but that's why I try to make it for one to watch it right away because it is amazing and two so they get more ratings. That's why I try to watch my favourite shows that night even though I had to give up three of my favourite shows for RIVERDALE 👍🏻🤗 so everyone catch up on RIVERDALE and watch it that night I sware u will love it. I HATED murder mysteries then y cousin casually mentioned to watch it with her and now irs an obsession which my cousin is freaked out about! HAHAHAH PLZ WATCH IT THOUGH

I felt like if they had cast more seasoned actors for this, it would've gone better…it feels very overhyped and trying too hard.
Nicki Swift needs to get their facts right. Riverdale S2 just premiered to an 0.8, the second highest premiere this fall for TheCW. They should also know TheCW is naturally less watched than the rest so Riverdale's numbers were actually pretty solid. Also, I'm pretty sure neither Riverdale or Jane The Virgin were actually the least rated of the season. Their ratings were never terrible, and in fact, the S2 ratings have been consistently amazing for TheCW so far.
I'd rather watch the zombie show and possibly the time travel on than what they currently landed on. This is just a standard CW drama with the core idea stolen from the comics.

Rating is maybe small but the actors are highly overrated. For example Lili's acting is really tragic and Camila and most of the cast are pretty bad too. I would like the show way more if the acting was convincing, this cast seems more like a group of perfect looking people in some kind of beauty competition

Guys relax I keep up with ratings and i can tell you that riverdales ratings have increased dramatically since season 2 began compared to the first it'll be fine cw has a track record that if it renews a show for a third season they'll push it to atleast 5 seasons to reach 100 episodes so they can sell it for syndication to other networks so riverdale isn't going anywhere

Nielesen ratings are completely unimportant now. Very few people that watch television shows nowadays watch the shows as they air live the first time. Even my must watch shows (The Walking Dead for example), are shows that I DVR so that I can fast forward through the commercials. Why spend 60 minutes watching a show if you can wait an hour and then watch it in 45 minutes.
