Super-classy beverage making Diageo went all in on a series of Game of Thrones-themed drinks ahead of the holidays, making both a White Walker whisky and a series of scotches modeled after the Great Houses of Westeros. I’m not a huge spirit guy, but even I can tell that Diageo put a lot of love into this project. The Greyjoy whisky incorporates “maritime flavors,” the Tully scotch is made on the banks of a river in Scotland, etc…the attention to detail is appreciated, and each bottle comes stamped with a lovely House logo. Diageo did beautiful work here.

Also, if you don’t care about any of that, all of the whiskies are at a very high ABV, so they’ll get you drunk right quick. It’s the simple pleasures.

Anyway, to promote the whiskies, Diageo signed up several Game of Thrones cast members, including Daniel Portman, who plays Podrick Payne. Portman shared a trailer of sorts on his Instagram that is as lovingly put together as everything else involving these drinks. Watch below:

I love the trout leaping out of the water in front of the Singleton Brewery, which makes the House Tully scotch.

Diageo made these scotches in limited quantities. They’re available, but the prices can be steep. ThinkLiquor is selling the whole set for $1,999, which is absurd, although you can buy some of the individual bottles for less. Thanks a million to Diageo for sending us a set. Feel free to watch us get drunk on it on Take the Black Live:

Drink responsibly.
