As we rapidly approach the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere, the marketing buzz is reaching a fever pitch. Today, TV Guide Magazine has released four unique collectible covers featuring Jaime and Cersei Lannister; Sansa, Arya and Bran Stark; Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen; and Tyrion…all by his lonesome. Poor guy.

These photos look like leftovers from the Entertainment Weekly cover shoot, but we’ll take what we can get.

Taking a closer look, I really like the detail in Dany’s new coat. The Targaryen red really pops on the greyish-white. But would it kill Jon to smile?

Cersei and Jaime share a cover. Jaime looks about as scruffy as he did when he was a prisoner of Robb Stark way back in season 2. I like his faded leather armor and the fact that he’s holding Widow’s Wail, the Valyrian steel sword that once belonged to Joffery. As for Cersei, I still can’t get enough of that red velvet gown with golden armor trappings.

Next, we have three Stark siblings: Arya, Sansa, and Bran. I especially like the details on Sansa’s dress. Is that leather? I dig that Arya’s hair looks like it’s blowing in the wind while Sansa’s is perfectly still. Also, can someone reprogram Bran to show more than the “does not compute” face he’s been holding since he became the Three-Eyed Raven?

Finally, we have Tyrion looking very serious. Could it be he’s just angry that he keeps getting left out of the Lannister family portrait?

Maybe Tyrion and Jaime will have time for a brotherly selfie when they meet again at Winterfell. April 14 can’t get here fast enough.
