While Tommy Fury appears to be actively ducking a massive pay-per-view boxing match against Jake Paul, his brother Tyson Fury may also be lining up a fight with someone who carries celebrity status. After recently calling out Hafthor Bjornsson on social media, the Icelandic strongman who is best known for his role as “The Mountain” on the popular HBO series Game of Thrones, responded and teased a potential clash in the ring between himself and Fury.

Via Bjornsson’s Instagram story, the strongman responded to Fury’s jabs with a series of photos including captions reading, “What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Maybe we’ll find out.” He then shared another video to his social media account, in which he tagged Fury and said he is “100% up for war.”

We’re not sure if Fury was actually expecting Bjornsson to respond, but now that he has, the stage has been set for a potentially bonkers fight between two of the more absurdly strong men on the planet. While Bjornsson is best known for his feats in strongman competitions and as one of the world’s renowned powerlifters, he’s had a brief career in the boxing ring, too, having competed in a total of four fights.

Of course, that doesn’t mean he’d be able to hold his own against the Gypsy King, who is one of the all-time greats of the sport. The two advertised the possible out pretty accurately, as this would truly be a battle of an immovable object against an unstoppable force. These two beasts would make for some quality entertainment in the ring, regardless of the outcome.

For reference, Fury stands in at a staggering 6’9 and weighs 265 lbs. As for Bjornsson, he also stands in at 6’9 but weighs a shocking 323 lbs. Seeing these two compete in any form of physical competition would be incredible, but a boxing match would definitely take the cake.

Jake Paul, Tyson Fury, Madison Square Garden, August 6th
